Hampstead Garden Suburb Renovation: A New Marble Tiled Floor
We are currently renovating a beautiful listed property in Hampstead Garden Suburb, where every design decision is carefully considered to honour the building’s heritage while introducing a refined, modern traditional aesthetic.
Material choices throughout the home have been guided by a commitment to timeless, high-quality finishes that feel both appropriate to the architecture and enduring in style. In the kitchen, we have recently installed a marble tiled floor in a classic chequerboard pattern. The result is really elegant, bringing a sense of heritage and quiet luxury to the space.
This traditional flooring sets the tone for the next phase of the design. The kitchen cabinetry will be updated in a rich, darker oak, creating a confident tonal contrast against the warmth of the marble. The combination of natural materials and layered tones will give the space depth, character, and a considered balance between classic and contemporary.
We look forward to sharing the next stage as the scheme continues to evolve.
