Our Hampstead interior design project is a full renovation and reconfiguration of a period family apartment in the heart of Hampstead. As interior designers specialising in Hampstead and North London period properties, we created a home that balances classical detailing with practical, family-focused design. Working within the existing architecture, we preserved original features while introducing bespoke joinery, improved layouts, and intelligent storage solutions tailored to modern family living. Every space was carefully considered to enhance flow, functionality, and long-term usability. The kitchen, dining, and living areas were redesigned to form a sociable open-plan environment ideal for both everyday life and entertaining. A timeless, neutral palette layered with texture adds warmth and depth, complementing the property’s period character while ensuring the interiors feel current and inviting.

Across the apartment, durable materials, custom storage, and layered lighting schemes were selected to create a home that is as practical as it is refined. Bedrooms offer calm, restorative spaces, while bathrooms are designed with a sense of understated luxury, combining elegance with ease of maintenance.

We worked with Sam on refurbishing our new family home in London. Sam coordinated the design and all the project management which included sourcing contractors, managing contracts, work scopes, budgets, schedules, necessary permissions, as well as sourcing and procuring everything. Sam literally guided us through the project. He helped us go from a vague idea to a functional and beautiful home for our family. Everything we hoped for! We had a great personal connection with Sam.
